Chưng gạch cua: cho dầu ăn vào chảo, phi thơm hành tím và củ ném rồi cho gạch vào chưng cho dậy mùi thơm và có màu vàng. Khi canh cua vừa chín tới thì trút gạch vào nồi canh, đợi khi sôi đều thì tắt bếp, cho hành ngò sắt khúc vào nồi và thêm 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu. Vậy là món ăn này đã hoàn thành rồi.
