Khi canh cua vừa chín tới thì trút gạch vào nồi canh, đợi khi sôi đều thì tắt bếp, cho hành ngò sắt khúc vào nồi và thêm 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu. Vậy là món ăn này đã hoàn thành rồi.
